Albion Ridges Golf Course is happy to welcome traveling leagues
from around Minnesota and Western Wisconsin. We recognize
that these groups are growing in both size an popularity and want
to serve them to the best of our ability. In order to better
serve these leagues, the following three questions must be answered.
By adhering to the guidelines presented in the answers, we hope
to make the golfing experience more enjoyable four your group and
for other golfers.
What is traveling league?
- You must be an organized group of
people that play on a regular basis at different courses.
- Your group must have a league president
or captain to be responsible for the group.
- Your league will only play Monday
through Friday, no holidays.
- The golf course reserves the right
to judge who qualifies as a traveling league. It is at the
sole discretion of management.
What are the benefits of being a
traveling league?
- By meeting the criteria for a traveling
league your group qualifies for the $26 coupon price, good for
18 holes of golf and half a cart.
What do we need to do if we qualify
as a traveling league?
After qualifying as a traveling league,
the league leader or a designate is responsible for the following:
- Making advance reservations at least
1 month prior to playing.
- Securing the tee times with a deposit.
- Tee time reservations only will
be accepted, no shotgun starts or double starts.
- Contacting the course at least 48
hours prior to league date regarding final player numbers.
- Assigning all players to their respective
carts, according to a list provided by the course.
- Arranging players in foursomes when
possible, no more than 2 threesomes will be allowed.
- Informing each group about proper
pace of play (2 hours 5 mins/9holes) and consequences of not maintaining
this pace (i.e. groups being required to skip a hole, or possible
removal from the course)
- Providing the course with a list
of players prior to tee off.
- Collecting all fees and pay the
course prior to the final group teeing off.
- Aiding the management in enforcing
pace of play requirements, group must be self pacing.
- Completing all scoring, including
the breaking of ties. No extra holes will be allowed for
a playoff.
